No. 22 Women's Tennis downed by No. 1 Emory, 9-0

ATLANTA -- The 22nd-ranked Washington and Lee women's tennis team faced off with No. 1 Emory on Saturday afternoon, but fell, 9-0, to the Eagles.

The Generals' overall record dropped to 7-5 in their fourth match of the season against a nationally ranked opponent, while the Eagles remained undefeated (12-0) with the win.

W&L will return to action on Tuesday when they compete in a pair of 4:00 pm ODAC matches, one at home against Lynchburg and one at Bridgewater.
