LEXINGTON, Va. -- The Washington and Lee men's tennis team opened its 2019-20 campaign with an ODAC conference victory over Emory & Henry on Wednesday afternoon at the Upper Courts.
W&L took all six singles matches in straight sets and the Generals dropped just eight games across the three doubles matches en route to the sweep.
Washington and Lee is now 1-0 overall and 1-0 in the ODAC. Emory & Henry fell to 1-1 on the season, 0-1 in conference play.
The Generals will return to action on October 4-6 when they compete in the ITA Southeast Region Championships held at Mary Washington.
