    The U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) released its preseason NCAA Division III Men’s Cross Country National Top 35 Poll on Wednesday, and Washington and Lee was ranked 24th with 88 points.

    The Old Dominion Athletic Conference released its 2017 men’s cross country preseason coaches’ poll on Wednesday, and two-time defending league champion Washington and Lee took the top spot out of 11 teams. The Generals garnered 10 of the 11 available first-place votes and 100 total points.
